Our qualified staff are carefully selected on the basis of their experience and requirements for the role. Each member of staff (including assistants) undergoes an extensive induction, which covers areas such as safeguarding children, equal opportunities, health and safety, and working together as a team.

We are committed to supporting the ongoing professional development of all our staff through local courses, staff meetings, and in-house training.

Here at Green Acres we like to “Grow our own” …. To assist in this the Head of Centre is a qualified assessor and verifier.

We work in close partnership with training providers to ensure our assistants develop their professional knowledge and skills as well as have practical experience to enable them to develop into leaders in their own right.
